About This Print

Summers meant swimming in clear pools of the Yuba River. I couldn’t wait to get out of class, grab a girlfriend and some nectarines and barge down dusty dirt roads to our favorite swimming hole. The idea was simple. Sun like a seal on big granite boulders. Soak up the sun and then plunge into the pools created from years of mining. My fondest memories of freedom and nostalgia come from these memories- dusty, warm skin and freedom. It was pre-responsibilities and afternoons were meant for swimming from hole to hole. Yuba connects me to this time.The design on this bag is all movement and water- life was fluid.
