About This Print

This river changed our life. We left Maui with heavy hearts and landed in the Portland suburbs, then spent every warm weekend packing the car with my mom and our two kids and driving up to the Gorge for a downwind. The water was freezing. Our hearts were full. Eventually we made the call to leave the burbs and move to where we played instead of where we worked. The Columbia gave us a new community, a new canoe club, a new shape to our days. I named this colorway Columbia because moths know what they're doing. They follow the light. So did we.
